ML Baseball bettors?

For hopefully the serious players, is there a certain numbers of regular season games played, before you start betting? For me, I tend to lose somewhat regularily on the first part? (of the season), but do well middle and late. Looking for an analytics number for number of games before betting if possible.

It all depends what you use to handicap games....everyone is different.....if you need true current stats then waiting some weeks to feel the teams out is best....if you use past trends stuff like that you can start betting 1st game....if you use line moves or consensus type capping also you can start 1st game. I think it's completely different for everyone

Just have a hunch that 30 games might be the right number to go forward? Welcome any response

Teams few expect will win early. Teams few expect will lose early. Pitchers the same.

Bet dogs who are winning despite crappy preseason expectations. And bet against the big name pitchers early until their expected forms are confirmed.

I bet small early and it’s usually 2 or three teams to get involved. Involved in the sense of what I think I know vs what I don’t. Then I keep adjusting as the season goes on. Rarely do I follow service plays during the season. If I do it’s usually to see who’s hot and involve the pick in a parlay.

I love reverse run lines on occasion.

Pitching has an advantage over hitting early on because hitters rely on timing and sometimes that takes a long time to accomplish. Furthermore, pitchers have an advantage in cold weather. Those two variables together can make you some early season loot if the stars are aligned.

I don't factor SP's much as bullpens get 40% of the work load.
